A multi-sided innovation hub that helps entrepreneurs grow their businesses and provides its clients with enterprise and supplier development solutions was looking to transform their business.

They had outgrown their traditional operating model whereby entrepreneurs would come to their premises for workshops and use their workstations, and the way they would report manually to clients.

Their challenges were that employees were always in meetings, adaptation to systems was slow, and information was stored in multiple locations requiring more time to complete tasks. They turned to us for help.

Solution

After engaging leaders, staff and entrepreneurs, we learned that they had a strong culture of co-creation and collaboration. They valued autonomy and working on what matters, not admin.

Our focus was to look at the organisation’s internal brand, people, processes, technology, and governance to move them away from operating in silos and help everyone align with the client’s purpose.

To achieve this, we worked alongside their operations, IT and HR teams. As well as data security, we established IT policies for bring your own devices and migrated them to the cloud.

We then mapped out an employee experience journey for HR and implemented a digital platform to help operations with video training and create a knowledge base.

Together, we designed and implemented a digital workspace that connects their apps and services in one place so employees, entrepreneurs, partners, and clients can access their individual portals securely, anytime, anywhere, across all devices.

Result

Our solution delivered an ownership model, a mobile style of working and a consumer style of computing for an ever-changing business. It redefined how people use technology to interact with an organisation.

All stakeholders now have better visibility of projects and performance in a way that is flexible and convenient to the user. The accuracy, collaborative capabilities and agility awarded by our solution enables everyone at any level to make better decisions, faster.
